The Last Cherry Blossoms

Posted on

By now, all of the cherry blossoms have already bloomed and fallen off of the trees. I managed to get a few that had already dropped from my neighbor’s tree. You practically can’t get anymore anywhere else. It’s a bit of a shame, honestly. The cherry blossoms came a lot earlier than I had expected them to.

This time around, I tried to mess around a bit using one of my tripods. Hope you enjoy the results of my fooling around!

  1. I really wish cherry blossoms would A last longer and B not be so darn random with their blooming. The last couple years I completely missed them so I was happy when I saw them this year although not in full bloom. I find them to be always a nice choice for photography regardless of subject.

Kinda wish I had gathered some of the fallen petals like you did as I’m finding myself to use some for my next photo shoot.

    1. Sheesh, you’re telling me! They bloomed much earlier than they normally do here in WA. It was honestly a bit disappointing considering that it started getting windy and rainy shortly after it showed up.

I honestly wish I had more time with the cherry blossoms as I wanted to take a picture of Yuuki Yuuna with the falling petals to make it similar to her transformation scene from the show. However alas, time is not as forgiving.
