The Little Busterz

Boys Don’t Cry

Posted by in Reflection

The longer I go about living, I see it’s the relationship that is most meaningful. William Shatner Warning! There are spoilers for the following titles: Little Busters!, Persona 4, Nier: Automata, and (old) Star Trek related shows/movies. About a decade ago, I had noticed a certain group of characters with similar art styles being used in forum signatures. The character design had gotten me interested enough to look into where they had come from. That was when I found out they were from a visual novel called Little Busters! and were…read more

Texas Sweat Adventures!

Posted by in Life

Day 0 + 1 Finally the day when I would leave to Texas had arrived! As per usual on days before the flight, I did not get any sleep. Since the flight would not take off until 10:50pm, I had decided several weeks ago I would work in the morning instead. I’ve already had a pretty bad sleeping schedule to begin so I don’t think I would have been able to wake up early even if I wanted to. Ironically, despite the month of June and the few days following…read more

Separation of Blog and Photography

Posted by in Arts

It was only a matter of time, however I’ve decided to separate the blogging part of this little website from the photography side. It’s become far too difficult to be able to navigate posts of my own little blog posts versus the vast amount of photography posts that I have in here. It was not my original intent to have this blog turn into a photography-centric one. So with that said, I will be posting all photography-related over to my new website: Reprise Photography! As such, I will probably begin…read more

Sakura-Con 2017: Day 3

Posted by in Balance and Friends, Life

Today was finally the day the con would finally conclude. With that in mind, how do you think I spent a majority of my time in con? I waited in lines. Yep! For the past two years, I’ve done something different for each con that I go to. I would choose a certain number of guests that were coming to the con and present them with a small gift. One  year, I gave a bottle of hand made paper stars to some of the guests. Another year, I gave bags…read more

Sakura-Con 2017: Day 2

Posted by in Balance and Friends, Life

Morning time. 8am. I look to my right. Meta’s nowhere to be seen. “Oh, that’s right. He woke up early to go to the Dollfie photoshoot with Ken.” It was perfect, honestly. With him absent from the room, I was able to prepare the cosplay I had kept a secret for a long time… D.Va in her Taeguki skin! After I had taken a shower, I started to put on the makeup that I had purchased from Target the day before. It didn’t take a while before I had realized…read more

Three Years of Trash

Posted by in Rage Cow, Reflection

As some of my friends know by now, I often refer my store as the dump. This came across at first as an ongoing joke that’s been going on (against me ahaha) in a friend’s Discord server. It didn’t take too long before everyone pretty much agreed the kind of customers I get are fairly trashy to the point where calling my store “the dump” is an accurate description. It won’t be too long before it will have been officially three years since we took over the convenience store in…read more

The Alter Saber Queen Arrives

Posted by in Arts

Well, it’s time for a photo dump. I had recently gotten a Tamron 16-200mm lens. It’s a terribly wide lens and I wanted to figure it out and see how it fares. Long story short, it may not be the best for macro photography unless there’s ample lighting. Something I had kind of figured, but still had wished it was a little sharper. Nevertheless, I’ve determined that macro photography may not be the best for this lens. It probably is meant more for all kinds of situations so you can carry…read more
