Comic: Rebukes, Reprimands, and Revenge

Posted by in Comic

Hey guys! It’s been a long time since I’ve made an update to this page. Most of it can be blamed on my obsession with playing Overwatch. With the time I’ve had lately though, I managed to whip up something in regards to that. Hope you enjoy!

Balance and Friends: Nova Vista!

Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Ansel Adams I think one of the best things about getting into the toy photography hobby is getting to know more about others who are also involved in it! While we may share similar preferences on what we take a majority of our photos of, our perspective are all different! After getting to know more and more about each and every other toy photographer, I get a small idea of what their world looks…read more

I often find that the funniest comics are the ones that involve everyday life. So here’s something that I find happens all the time between a friend and I. Yes, long story short, I’m known as cow amongst friends. Enjoy!

Alter’s Archer

Posted by in Arts

After I was done with Soochi’s photoshoot (and a quick meal), I went back to the Waterfall Garden Park to take some pictures of the Archer figure I had gotten a while back. I was getting really tired of the same old backdrop that I used at home so I figured that I could at least make use of the time that I was going to be at Seattle for and take pictures of him. Thankfully the pictures came out alright. There were a lot of highlight clippings but it…read more

Normal Umaru Photoshoot with Soochi

Posted by in Arts

A while ago, I did my first little private photoshoot with Soochi with the help of my friend, Leyzee! This was my first time doing something like this (other than having one with my two friends) so I was a bit excited. Since Soochi was going to wear a casual and school uniform of normal Umaru, I chose two different spots so that it’d fit both costumes. So for these photoshoots, I chose the Waterfall Garden Park and the Seattle Central Library. I won’t show ALL the pictures since I…read more

Introducing Saitama, Venom Snake, and Akitsushima~

Posted by in Comic

So I’m getting pretty tired of the same setup that I have and I didn’t exactly have a lot of time to create something new. So instead of waiting until I figure something out and taking pictures of different nendoroids in the same background, I decided to just take a different approach altogether. Hope you enjoy!

Balance and Friends: Kristo aka @talesofwhatever!

To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. -Elliott Erwitt If there’s one thing that toy photography has done, it would be how it’s changed my perspective on everything around me. Suddenly everything that seemed so normal has transformed into something interesting. My front lawn is suddenly a plateau, the (terribly messy) garage is now a grungy alley, and a…read more

Cutting into the Void: Aniplex’s Ryougi Shiki 1/7 Figure

Posted by in Arts

Ahhhh I have been waiting for this day for a long time now! As some might know, Kara no Kyoukai is one of my top favorite animes of all time. Truly a diamond piece out of everything that I’ve seen so far. It really is a great movie series and I would highly recommend anyone watching it if you’ve got an interest in the superstitious/thriller genre. It’s got a lot of dialogue however, but it’s very well written and it will certainly be a great watch for those who like…read more

Balance and Friends: Awesome in Figure!

I’m attracted to images that come from a personal exploration of a subject matter. When they have a personal stamp to them, then I think it becomes identifiable. -Leonard Nimoy As you all know, the one thing that makes art so enjoyable is that we can share it with others. It helps us connect with others in ways other methods of communication can not. As such, I’ve been able to expand my circle of acquaintances and friends because of this hobby of mine. I also like to share the works…read more

The Last Cherry Blossoms

Posted by in Arts

By now, all of the cherry blossoms have already bloomed and fallen off of the trees. I managed to get a few that had already dropped from my neighbor’s tree. You practically can’t get anymore anywhere else. It’s a bit of a shame, honestly. The cherry blossoms came a lot earlier than I had expected them to. This time around, I tried to mess around a bit using one of my tripods. Hope you enjoy the results of my fooling around!
